Boat ramps in Newport Industrial Park, and 7th Street Industrial Park in Wilmington.

Boat ramp is no longer there. Development has taken over the Riverfront area. 9/2019.

The Christina River, a tributary of the Delaware River.The Christina River Basin drains portions of Pennsylvania, Delaware, and Maryland, and includes the Christina River (which eventually flows into the Delaware River in Wilmington, Del.), Brandywine Creek, White Clay Creek, and Red Clay Creek. The Christina Basin provides water to over 500,000 people, including 75% of the water supply for New Castle County, Del. and more than 40% of the water supply for residents in Chester County, Pa. In addition, Brandywine Creek is the source of Wilmington's drinking water. The watershed also provides important wildlife habitat, is a place of natural beauty and recreational opportunities for many to enjoy, and contains the White Clay Creek, a National Wild and Scenic River. The waters of the Christina Basin provide 75% of the public water supply for residents and businesses of New Castle County, Delaware, and 40% of the water supply for Chester County, Pennsylvania.According to State surface water quality standards, the streams in the Christina Basin provide the following designated uses: Delaware Public, agricultural, and industrial water supply Primary and secondary contact recreation Fish, aquatic life, and wildlife Cold Water Fish (Put and Take Trout) Water of exceptional recreational and ecological significance.

The Christina River is a tributary of the Delaware River, approximately 35 miles (56 km) long, in northern Delaware in the United States, also flowing through small areas of southeastern Pennsylvania and northeastern Maryland. Near its mouth the river flows past downtown Wilmington, Delaware, forming the city's harbor for traffic on the Delaware River. The Port of Wilmington, opened in 1923 at the river's mouth, handles international cargo and trade.[5]
