So i finally managed to get a few times on the ice, but it has been a fiasco, had more trouble with my auger, must have screwed up the blade angle, one day was so bad it would not cut at all, was heading back in when another guy showed up and was gracious enough to let me use his auger, finally broke down and ordered a new one, hope to have it in a few days. Aside from all that, fishing has been tough, bite has been so subtle as to almost be undetectable, at least my my inexperienced self. Well no matter what, beats sitting home doing nothing.
