Reopening NJ's Wildlife Management Areas

Wildlife Management Areas that were closed, or had access to certain facilities temporarily restricted due to state mandated employee furloughs, will begin reopening today, Monday, July 27. It may take several days for all of the areas to reopen since Division of Fish and Wildlife Land Management staff physically remove barriers and inspect each location.

The status of WMAs and facilities will be posted on the WMA System page as they reopen.

I cant wait for parks to reopen. Ive been itching to fish for months now.

Yeah, soon it will be trapping season and we can start setting our traps for New Jersey's elusive & corrupt ferret faced governor.
