Got up Sunday and took my niece and nephew over to Merril creek to dunk some worms. Was a great morning, clobbered the sunnies and rock bass, saw a big snapping turtle, some deer , a water snake, and all kinds of birds. Also taught them how to paddle a canoe. Needless to say, they had a blast. And all the wildlife is just one of the many reasons to enjoy fishing, hopefully they will be hooked for life.

Great story and thats what its all about! Teach them early and let them enjoy the real outdoors and not a video game.

I have learned that there is just as much enjoyment getting them on the fish as getting on them myself, plus it always makes the wife more receptive when I say I am taking her nephews and nieces....LOL.....
