pomptonfly,

I've been very interested in learning how to tie flies lately and just havent gotten around to getting a starter kit yet...after seeing your flies and tutorial above it makes me want to get started right away...do you have any recommendations on a starter "kit" for beginners like me...or are there specific materials that are a must for fly tying...any info is greatly appreciated! awesome flies by the way!

Get the bigger(more expensive) starter kit you buy(afford), It will enable you to tie a greater variety of flies. If you can, get a kit with an instruction book for beginner flies. some can be tied with minimal supplies, some require rare and hard to find materials.

let me know when you get started Dave.

No offense but that wolly bugger sucks. I've seen beginners tie better wolly buggers. However some of your other patters are extreamly good.
