Anyone fish the dam below Rainbow Lake for crappies? I used to fish there years ago ( like 20+ years ago) during the spring for crappies... would catch a ton of them on nighcrawlers and small minnows.... a few really nice size ones ( in the 2 pound range). Haven't fished there in years and was wondering if they still come up there in spring.... I assumed they came up from Union Lake. Thinks I may give it a shot this spring with some light tackle and see for myself, but would like any feedback if anyone knows... thanks!
