Fall in love with fishing by joining us for this all-day, hands-on workshop. Greg Becker of White Water Flies and volunteers will guide you step-by-step through the intricate art of fly tying a wooly bugger and the mellifluous casting technique of fly fishing for trout. Learn a new skill you can practice for life!
Part I (10 am to noon) will cover basic fly tying to make attractive fly fishing lures. Each participant will make at least two lures. After lunch, Part II (1:00 to 2:30) will introduce the basics of fly casting techniques, and participants will get to try their skills on the Pequest Education Pond.
Participants 16 and older are required to have a valid fishing license with a trout stamp which can be purchased upon arrival.
