Review: That technique works so often, you cast onto a dock, rock or tree, the lure falls into the water more naturally and the fish just picks it up. I caught a salmon in Iceland like that. The guys had spotted this salmon early in the morning and had thrown everything at it for hours. So as they were packing the cars to go home I was killing time by just casting around. I bouncing my cast off of a rock on the opposite shore, it fell fell straight into the pool and the salmon jumped on it. That was a nice fight, still makes me smile thinking about it. :)
