They said it should be built and open by 2015. It was delayed because of the hurricane last year. Can't wait. My family gets me giftcards for there and I hate ordering online.

Bro, nothing gets delayed in A.C. when the cash is there for the project. I've handled many construction litigation cases in both Atlantic, Ocean and Cape May Counties. A.C. is a trash dump for investment dollars. With pop up casinos and slot joints opening up all over, A.C. is officially dead. Casinos have made very poor decisions desperate to lure in the high rollers and one guy creamed them http://m.theatlantic.com/magazine/archive/2012/04/the-man-who-broke-atlantic-city/308900/

In any event with the closing of Revel and others A.C. is like a punchy boxer in the 12th rd. The slightest hit can topple the giant. Considering that the Bass Pro deal calls for an investment of $34 million in public funds from a broke city, don't be surprised if the doors don't open on time if at all.

Sorry SouthJers , Bass Pro online has the same stuff n if u buy over 50-75$ worth its free shipping , js saying it's expensive if u get a chance to compare prices on some other Tackle Sites , I ain't blowing smoke .. I gotcha Sheldon , Moss Green color and I would go for at least 12lb test js cs I don't know the structure situation , any rip rap , laydowns , flats , etc ? That's why I would start u at 12 , personally I use the 10 with lighter weight jig heads for slower fall rate .. I have less structure at this particular lake , but I have that on a St.Croix Avid series 6'6" Med/lite fast tip (My Baby) lol .. It Def will fly further the more weight you use , but time of year , water levels dictate what n how they want it presented .. So I use 10 , but keep an eye especially if ur making contact with the bottom or laydowns , it does fray also after a fish check as well , even feel , when in doubt cut n retie .. So many Big Girls lost to my laziness .lol I also I tried the newest Spider Wire Invisabraid , its White and flat like .. I got it in 15 lb and 10 lb didn't like the distance on the 15 ( great strength ) so I let my girl use that one , never got around to trying the 10 out yet .. All the same , the Nano is the best for distance and it's just a supple sterdy line , you'll see when ur trying to cut it , its a lot like braid js not quite as loud n bulky Polomar knots are best for me I've straightened hooks out on upgraded trebs on my crankbaits before breaking it off , use ur sleeve or a glove too if u do get stuck n shaking n wiggling from diff angels doesn't work , it will cut u like a Ginsu knife .. You will hopefully fall in love with it as I did , especially since were both Bank fishermen .. I know the need for that extra 20 feet at least .. Hope this helps , its a Good line js back it good at least like 20 ft of 10-15lb mono I Uni to Uni knot em but that's js the easiest n lowest profile line to line knot I know .. Hope u have some success or at least a positive experience , check ur knots are solid cs this is slippery line .. Lol Anyway let me know how that works out ..

Thanks for the info. I'll give it a shot. Does the line float or sink?

As for Spiderwire, it's probably the roughest braid I ever used. I tried the Invisiglo line which supposedly is invisible under water but has special coloring to allow you to see it above water. It's total bullshit and turns white after one outing. It was never invisible under water either. I will agree and say it's super strong. It's also pretty stiff.

If you're looking for silky smooth braid that is limp, thin and strong try Daiwa samurai in green. It'll fade a bit but holds its color. It's more expensive but I think it's amazjng. No braid noise run through the guides or reel. But since it's extremely limp it wraps around rod tip and hooks more than a stiff braid.

The 20 lb Samurai looks about half the diameter of Spiderwire. It's the only super smooth braid that doesn't have a coating so it stays slick whereas other wear off.

Def am gona check that out , didn't even know Daiwa had line , they make lures too , or did ..idk .. Def checkin the specs on the line as we speak .Yea the diameters are about the same , but Daiwa doesn't have lighter than 15lb although from what I see the diameter would be smaller on the Daiwa if they did go lower than 15lb .. Pretty Good numbers , now that's an expensive Holy Sheet .. 45$/150 yards .. Wowsers ..Lola

Amazon has 150 of 20 lb for $30. That's what I have. It's probably the silky feel and limpness that gave me the impression that it had a thinner diameter.

Lol , Think ur right on the money with that we're the only ones in on this topic that we seem to be deviating from at the moment .. Anyway u can gather new info , I say go for it . I js learned about a new fishing channel on cablevision that I have access to its on channel 172 DESTH not sure what it stands for , but it had a Bill Dance show on , I came across by accident .. I think I might try out a section of the Passaic River tomorrow .. Have an interview down there n figure why not it's right behind where I'm going .. So we'll see .. What was the Topic again ..?? Lol

Got 2 heavy duty rod/reel combo rods from bass pro shop last winter. 1 is called brawler, the other stampede. Had a giftcard, so i tried them...gotta tell you, they have taken a beating and they work beautifully. Paid less than 35.00 each. I still use mono 10 pound test. I will go to whatever store is having a sell on lures, i use walmart mostly, because its on the way to and from work. Most of my other rods, i got from my dad when he passed away. It feels like he is with me, when i'm using his equipment. I've lost alot of his lures, but think he'd rather me lose them fishing, than letting them rust in his tacklebox. Most of the labels on his rods have worn off, so i'm not sure what kind of rods they are. 2 i know are zebco heavy action. They are 20 years old. I had to replace the reels on them, but they work like they are new. I don't buy many rods, but when i do, you definitely have to go to the stores and check them out

That's a really cool story man . As far as rods go , it can give ur lure a different and mostly a better action . I think about my pops every time I get my lure out of being stuck , seemingly js at the point I'm ready to amap the line .. I just look up and say thanks Dad .. On a funnier note , I've had an older rod snap on me , on a small fish too . I had to reel in the fish and the other half of the rod .lol . The Backbone is good for long distance hooksets , only bad thing is mono is like a delayed reaction in a way , like if you set the hook a little early , that stretch allows you that extra second u need for the fish to get the bait in its closed mouth instead of setting too early an ripping it out it's mouth . I liked 10lb Yo-Zuri copolymer (half mono, half fluoro ) no stretch , hardly visible , pretty cheap too , got it at Sports Authority . Anyway cool story , and hope that helps if u ever wana try out some new stuff . Fish On dude .
