If any one loves catching big cat fish I got this new bait .... hot dogs soaked in maple syrup, tried it once and was getting bites in minutes, just last night, the older gentleman who told me about this said that largemouth bass also love this bait .. I have yet to try fot them on it,, after a long day of fishen or campen hit the lake at night and sit a weiner soaked in maple syrup at the bottom of lake and you will grap some nice cats!
Dude I just came back from conneticut and we were camping out there, one night we had hot dogs on the barbeque and had some burnt ones and we had maple syrup so I gave your idea a shot and sure enough my daughter caught a 4 lb bullhead and lots of smaller ones and my son caught a 5 lber. They must love hotdogs because they were coming into the shallows right up on the bank to get at the dogs.
