2016 Salmon Stocking of NJ Lakes

This is the 10th year that New Jersey has been stocking landlocked salmon into NJ lakes. A total of 1,405 holdover Landlocked Salmon were stocked between March 10th and March 14th, 2016. The average size salmon is 15.6 inches to 1.65 pounds each. More than 5,500 salmon have been stocked in these lakes and should make NJ salmon fishing very exciting for 2016 season.

Stocked Lakes:
Lake Wawayanda – Wawayanda State Park in Sussex Cty.
Lake Tilcon – Allamuchy Mountain State Park in Morris Cty.
Lake Aeroflex – Kittatinny Valley State Park in Sussex Cty.
