I am an older (50) mature fisherman looking for Fishing partner(s) in NW NJ. I just joined the site and have lived in Sparta (lake Mohawk) 6 years and I have fished most of my life. However, I used to live on Long Island NY and surf fished. Now that I live in Lake Mohawk I fish freshwater and am looking to expand the lakes I fish. Lake Mohawk is a private community with 2 lakes. Lake Mohwak is the largest man made lake in NJ and contains LM, SM, and Hybrid Bass. It also has pickerel, crappie, sunfish, and perch. The smaller lake is called upper lake and has LM bass. I do not have a boat but I do have a Hobie fishing kayak. If anyone would like to try lake Mohawk bank fishing or a lake you fish please let me know.
