Anglers aboard the Capt. John of Keyport and the Sea Hawk of Perth Amboy had an exciting sighting of a huge humpback whale breaching on schools of bunkers. At one point it practically came up alongside the Sea Hawk. See posted pics or go to the Capt. John web page.

Its been just about two years since the last humpback whale was sited in NJ/NY waters.
