If I could have any lure this fall for bass fishing but can only choose one, it would be the soft paddle tail swimbait! ever since a decade ago, these baits were revolutionized and a flock of them has come out. Doesn't matter what brand but if you need a few, Keitech, Reaction innovation, Gambler, PowerTeam Lures, Bass Pro Shops, the list goes on!
I hook them on a swimbait hook because south jersey got too many of those black nasty algae, but as the water cools and them algae goes away, i use a jig with a good bait saver or super glue and go slay them. Covering water is the key. lighter weight to for high water column
