I hit Roosevelt pond this week and missed a fish because I used my heavy action rod @ didn't feel it until it was 2 late. I did however see the fish and it was decent. I watched a guy nail 3 trout on a mini tube .The temp was in the low 50's. I also hit up some ponds today & nada! It was 36 degrees out, slight wind. I picked apart 3 farm ponds with the proper rod and all I can say is the water looks clear and it was great to get some casts in.
