southjerseyangler spinnerbait - cast 25 feet out, reeled about 5 feet, then cut into a small alleyway through the pads. Hopped the lure over a few stems and right before the next alleyway, he pulled the lure and i hooked him. About 10 feet out, it was a good fight - had to let him run a bit to get untangled from all the pads near the shore. Got him landed finally - cleaned a bunch of stuff off of him for a good picture
