southjerseyangler Nice FAT bass - cast into a little cove along the shore of a small island about 40 feet out - 4 turns of the reel and he was hooked - he zig-zagged and battled all the way in! He was calm as i unhooked him - i had a tough time getting the hook out. It was at a weird angle - finally got it without serious damage to the fish, just a small hole in the cheek
