southjerseyangler Got him on the otherside of the lake. Lots of algae has gathered over here, but there are still alot of clear areas to fish in the middle. I kept getting hits on the lure everywhere i cast - but no hook ups. I was reeling the lure across some algae near the shore - about 10 feet out - keeping the pole up let the lure kinda glide across the muck without getting to much on it. He CHOMPED it, i wasn't ready for it. It took a second longer than usual to set the hook, but i got him. He took off about 10 feet to the right, then i reeled him straight in - you can see the lure is covered with that slimy stuff, it's the blue/yellow spinner i've been using - the otherside of the fish is covered with that stuff too.
